Ashley is a designer with an interest in data visualization, human-centered design and experience design. Aside from completing her degree in Information Design, she is completing a minor in Marketing.
As a designer, she believes in doing things with empathy and advocating for the user’s experience above anything. She recently completed a project using systems-thinking to discuss supporting the mental health of racialized immigrant youth in Canada and the research done with the project will be utilized by Immigrant Services Calgary to support their future youth programs.
Outside of school, you can find Ashley practicing her hooks and uppercuts at a boxing studio or having a good cup of coffee/tea at a local cafe.
