Cards of Alternatives
Cards of Alternatives is a set of activities designed to launch your collaboration session into deep-thinking mode; allowing an exchange of interpersonal expertise. The cards can be used by university students or anyone looking to participate in a positive collaborative experience that avoids menial small-talk and gets collaborators right to work towards a common goal. Some methods are directly borrowed from Indigenous practices, such as two-eyed seeing and trees holding hands, while others are implied such as storytelling, imagining, and visualizing. Quintessentially, the cards can initiate meaningful conversations that build a lasting educational and collaborative experience.
