Plass Destruction is a single issue magazine exploring conversations around plastic waste and the zero waste movement in the city of Calgary. The magazine highlights the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals and focuses on Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production. It details the statistics, facts, myths, etc. of the zero waste lifestyle and includes a feature article with Briana Loughlin who is the Co-Founder and Director of Inspiration & Change at Plastic-Free YYC, a local non-profit organization that aims to be a leading voice in zero-waste and plastic-free living. The magazine is meant to encourage discussions around the plastics epidemic, to encourage citizens, businesses, and governments to join the movement and to provide accessible information and resources for living a more sustainable lifestyle.
