The goal of this internship project was to craft the onboard experience for NCL’s next generation of ships that delivers on the expectations of younger cruisers. After some research it was found that Cruises aren’t meeting the expectations of solo millennial travellers. The Hideaway, which is a 3 part solution. The Hideaway is an opportunity to capitalize on a third demographic, the solo millennial traveler yearning for meaningful community connections. The Hideaway is a sub-brand under the Norwegian umbrella. It is a travel experience crafted for the next generation of travellers, who seek something out of the ordinary. The Hideaway is a new experience that encompasses new partnerships, a digital platform, and redesigned spaces, all curated with millennials in mind.
