Inspired by the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals, this system map was created to demonstrate the process of food distribution and purchasing within a local economy. The purpose of this project was to identify the factors that make it difficult for business owners in the agriculture sector to compete in their local market, and to highlight the potential for positive change. This graphic shows the beneficial opportunities that are missed when food is imported and the importance of locally produced food in its benefit to multiple businesses and industries.
