Sara is an information designer based out of Calgary, Alberta with a focus on user experience and interactive media. She is passionate about creating empathy-driven experiences for users and has utilized her skills working in both visual design and human factors based roles for companies such as Aucerna and Alberta Health Services. Sara intends to pursue a Masters Degree in Human-Computer Interaction this upcoming fall to complete research relating to the application of diegetic user interface elements in virtual and mixed reality gaming experiences. Apart from school and work, Sara is passionate about mountain biking, softball, and reading as many novels as she can.
